Katye got a tatoo on the last full day that we were in St. Pete..As i think about it, I don’t think that there is much on St. Pete Beach that Katye didn’t do, but that is a good thing.

We went on a ride at Sea World called the kracken ..  Katye enjoyed it more than i did.. The camera work is a little rough b/c i had my eyes closed the entire time and i could hardly hold up the camera.

this is called skippy because the drinks we made  are called that, short for run, skip, hop and go naked…(there was no hopping, skipping or going naked.  We went to the store bought a blender and food and the stuff to make these drinks that Brook our hair stylist taught us about…  They are very good, but like everything in life must be drank in moderation.. We did well with that.. No, i am serious, we did..

We sat out on the beach and then at the pool reading our books.  Katye is reading Hillary Clintons latest and i am reading Barbara Walters book.  What a relaxing vacation.

Last night we bought a little grill and made steaks and shrimp on our balcony for dinner. Yummy..Then we went to the grocery story and bought no sugar ice cream bars, which katye hated, and drove over to the beach at Pass-a-grille and watched the sun set in literally 2 minutes.

We were in bed by 10, but i am ok with that..  We are checking into snorkeling today and are planning on going to sea world tommorow.

We just got here yesterday.   Everything was smooth on the way down.  We went to the beach, and then to dinner at Sea Critters in Pass-a-Grille.  We went to sleep at 8pm, well, because the 38oz knock out drink we shared at dinner, kicked our butts.  We are staying just down the the beach from the infamous Don Cesar Hotel.  Our place, The Grand Plaza Hotel, is great…. 

Since there is a fridge and microwave, and since we already got our beer and diet coke on the way in, we will go to Wal-mart and get some food…..and then, of course, to the beach.

Life is good right now..as i write, Katye is still sleeping, and I watched the sun rise behind me and the waves crash in front of me out on our balcony.  The beach is already filling up at 8 am…
